Lakeside Acquisitions Advises Sellers of GreenWay Recycling in its Sale to Tomorrow Recycling

Great Lakes Region

Lakeside Acquisitions is pleased to announce the sale of GreenWay Resource Recovery and GreenWay Recycling Services (together, “GreenWay Recycling”) to Tomorrow Recycling (“Tomorrow Recycling”), a portfolio company of Thursday Capital (“Thursday”). GreenWay Recycling, owned by Jeff Thompson, Jim Workman, and Mark Workman, is one of the premier independent transfer stations, material recovery facilities, and roll-off waste service providers in the Midwest, handling a variety of waste streams including construction and demolition, municipal solid waste, cardboard, and certain other materials. With the addition of GreenWay Recycling to their portfolio, Tomorrow Recycling will continue to leverage their extensive operational expertise and strategic guidance to continue to provide industry-leading waste and recycling services to the market.

GreenWay Recycling engaged Lakeside Acquisitions to lead and execute the complete transaction process, with Lakeside serving as the exclusive M&A advisor throughout the duration of the deal, which closed on August 21st, 2025. Lakeside’s niche focus and expertise in the waste and recycling industry helped provide invaluable insights and facilitate negotiations on behalf of GreenWay Recycling to ensure a successful outcome. The specific financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
