My experience with Lakeside exceeded my high expectations. They have assembled an excellent team that makes a challenging process manageable, and they deliver great results. Period. 

Matt H took the time to really understand my business, at a very deep level. He dissected my financial statements and told the story of my business in a way that appealed to larger players in the industry, setting the acquisition up for success and managing complicated financial questions throughout. Joe took the lead with contract negotiations and blasted through a never-ending deluge of legal issues, deadlines, modifications, and a hundred other deal-threatening problems that never stopped until the deal finally closed. At every step, Joe worked with the dedication of someone selling his own business, negotiating on my behalf even when it had no impact on Lakeside. Throughout the process, Matt B and Kelsey monitored, strategized, supported, and kept everything on track and operating smoothly. 

I was consistently impressed with the dedication everyone showed. Lakeside never backed away from an issue that was “outside of the scope” or needlessly acquiesced to issues that didn’t benefit them financially. They worked hard on my behalf regardless of how it impacted them, and they were a true partner from start to finish. 

For any business owner considering hiring Lakeside Acquisitions, you could certainly market and sell your business without them, but you’ll work harder and earn less. The value they delivered to me far exceeded the fees they charged, and if I had to do it all over again, I would hire them sooner.
